We loved it! Unbelievable value for a spaclous apartment just a few minutes from the beach. We liked that we had a starter pack in the apartment so could relax with a cuppa after arriving. Coles supermarket is a few minutes by car but everything else is just a few minutes walk. We loved the pool with huge paperback trees towering over it. Nice to be able to swim out of the full on tropical sun. We stayed 6 nights but would love a couple of weeks to fully wind down. Some amazing plants in the gardens.

Let's face it, Cairns is an oven but we love it. What we don't love is paying good money to have that oven upgraded to a fan forced model. The balconies in these units are rendered entirely inhospitable to human life, by the air conditioning units blowing boiling hot air into the already searing ambience. Touché to the apprentice architect who conceived that idea. Incidentally, this establishment charges you for additional toiletries when you run out, including a whopping $1.50 for a roll of cheap, single ply toilet paper. At least the internet worked. Never again.

A lovely stay with family. Nice, spacious two bedroom apartment nearby the pool. Good kitchen and laundry facilities within the apartment. WiFi too! Beautiful gardens and quiet location. So peaceful...even with a toddler ????. Within easy and short walking distance to beach and dining. Wonderfully friendly staff. Thank you so much for your help prior to our arrival and thank you for making us feel welcomed when we arrived. We will be back but in the meantime are more than happy to spread the word about this lovely little place.

Palm Cove Tropic Apartments has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under?
Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
