QLD Tourism welcomes Main Beach Foreshore Camping Grounds in North Stradbroke Island, You'll discover wonderful places to visit in North Stradbroke Island.
Main Beach stretches for 38kms along the eastern side of the island. Camping is available in fifteen designated areas at the southern end of Main Beach, approximately 17km south of Point Lookout. There is big swell for surfing and excellent beach fishing. There are no facilities and access is by 4WDrive vehicle along the beach. Dogs are allowed, however they must be on a lead at all times. We allow 1 vehicle and 2 dogs per campsite. If you have more than 1 vehicle or more than 2 dogs please book more sites.
