The family owned and operated Coachman's Rest Motor Inn, is located in Eden on the beautiful Sapphire Coast, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne and just two and a half hours drive from Canberra. Offering unspoilt beauty surrounded by National Parks and situated on the shores of Twofold Bay, this old whaling town has so much to offer. Bushwalking, diving, fishing on the local game boats, cruising Twofold Bay on the catamaran 'Cat Balou' where you will see dolphins, Sammie the seal, and explore the rugged coastline. The coachmans in Eden is located right on the highway. It is easy to get to with friendly staff, clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms. It also has wifi and is very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying here. It's that good.
Eden is a quite town out of peak hour. The service provided by the concierge was great. Although restaurant was closed, was still able to get a couple of bottles of beer to get me through the night as nothing else was opened at 8.30pm at night. Getting a lorry about at night with passing down rain, it's handy knowing you can still spend a 24 hour mandatory rest break at this place and find parking for your rig. Rooms are ordeal, showers and bathrooms are not bad for price.
