Privilege King room was clean, large, and particularly a very quiet room. The reading light was broken, and unfortunately no milk in fridge. The Reception staff member that was on duty at 8pm was really pleasant and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptionally good but the bottled white wine prices are far too high for locally produced wine. I would stay at the Mercure Goulburn again. We stayed March 2018. BTW The king bed was fabulous.........
If you have ever driven up the M1 from Melbourne to Sydney or Brisbane you will notice there is hardly any visible accommodation. I would totally recommend this place. The rooms are big and there beds are fantastic. There is also a bar and restaurant. There is a petrol station within 100 metres and other alternate food places within walking distance. Finally the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Take the first exit to Goulburn from Melbourne or the second Goulburn exit from Sydney. It's about 300 metres off the highway behind the service station. Plenty of parking for cars and trucks.
With limited accommodation choices on the drive from Gold Coast to Melbourne WOW what a relief it was arriving here! The room was a great size and the bathroom was amazing - best shower after a long drive! The location is great straight off the Hume and walking distance to everything.
