Nestled at the foot of Girards Hill in the heritage district of Lismore, The Lismore Wilson Motel is surrounded by beautiful rainforest trees and flowering shrubs. The motel is built in the style of the lovely timber homes of the region and is lined on both sides with typical heritage style verandas. Strictly non-smoking, the rooms are spacious and can be accessed without the use of the stairs. There is on-site parking outside all rooms and some undercover parking available. The motel features free wireless broadband, free Foxtel and digital HD television, and guest laundry with washer and dryer. Breakfast and dinner are available to the room and the motel is close to the Lismore central business district shopping and restaurants, as well as the Southern Cross University and hospitals.4.4 based on 5 reviews
Well presented and comfortable rooms, good home cooked food for those too weary to travel out for dinner. Usual kettle, mugs, toaster etc in the room, good shower and tidy bathroom. Free wi-fi is probably one of the best I've experienced in motels. Only downside is a noisy drain cover on the drive outside that announces arrivals later in the evening. Great service from the owners, really helpful and happy. Will stay here again.
This place has got all the important things right. Friendly, helpful staff. Free wifi. Plenty of powerpoints. The beds we slept in are really comfortable (King Coil Executive Plush mattresses). Beautiful shower I didn't want to get out of. Room service available for breakfast and dinner. Microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, tea and coffee fixings, iron, hair dryer, guest laundry.. Mini bar at reception. Clean, air conditioned. Some rooms wheelchair accessible. There are two pet-friendly rooms by arrangement. The older style c.1940 exterior adds charm. Excellent rates over the Christmas season and only half hour drive to Ballina.
