A lot of stores have closed down, food eateries have changed hands or just changed. The food isn't what it was like when it was the first 6 months. I know things change, prices increase it is the way of the market, but portion sizes seem to be getting smaller and smaller. Not all, but quite a few venues with in the NightQuarter. It won't stop me from going ....yet. Because, as I have stated above, things change and it may get better again. It will only affect the frequency in when I take my family.

Loads of food, great free music we take the kids for dessert and a play in the music area $3 to get in for adults kids free up to 12 I think. Food can be good just adds up quick for all of us so now we just go for ice cream. Gets very busy on special occasions frustrating having a double pram. It's Opposite the tram and train line.

Great family night out, has everything things for kids, live music, lots of food stores with food from all over the world. Drinks suck as cocktails, wines, beers and hard liquor, also soft drinks for the kids. Rides for the kids as well.

This place has a great feel and is perfect for a good family meal out. There are also markets and an indoor performance space with a bar. The steakhouse grill place also has a bar and often has a musician performing in the corner. After a great meal make sure you grab a coffee from the coffee hut or a wicked desert from the Brownie Hut.

Great venue with something for most people from Thai to Pancakes and pretty much everything in between. Seating can look non existent but if you don't mind sharing a bench or perching on a stool it's fine. Parking is plentiful in the adjacent Westfields but the tram, buses and heavy rail are 300m away. It can be pricey and there is a limited choice of alcoholic drinks but lots of other options. Families, couples and groups will all find something here.

NightQuarter has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under?
Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
