The hotel is located in the middle of the CBD, which is walking distance to the Golf and Bowling Club, Currie Harbour and all of Currie's shops. Meals are served daily at the hotel from noon until 1400 and 1800 until 2000, serving a great selection of local produce and specials daily. The bar is open daily not only for drinks but has TOTE and Keno facilities. Great crayfish meal. We had heard of the history of the hotel and Kate from the bar took us on a quick informal tour, unexpectedly helpful. We then ordered Crayfish - it was one of the best we have ever eaten, perfectly cooked in a delicate garlic butter sauce. Fabulous experience.
Recently stayed here as a group of 8 golfers. John and Sue were fantastic hosts who opened the kitchen early to suit our tee times and provided great variety of breakfasts. Sue organised two fantastic restaurants for our group which provided great food and service. Accomodation was Clean and modern. Highly recommend this hotel.
