Hands down one of the friendliest and most accommodating staff I have ever had!! Literally every person we encountered at this hotel greeted us with a smile and they were all so gracious. Anthony Szostak (chief concierge) went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable and as we were traveling with friends on their honeymoon it meant that much more. Even so far as to offer additional pillow toppers on my friends bed to ensure the mattress was soft enough. The hotel is beautiful, clean and everything updated and well maintained and really well staffed. If you're staying in the city I couldn't recommend a better hotel!!
A full service hotel with no shortage of friendly, capable and accommodating staff. Good restaurant food. Excellent gluten free options. Visited for four days of meetings which were very well catered. Parking is pricey but 150 Lonsdale carpark is only a couple of hundred metres away and open 24 hours. Well located and well kept. Secure. Worth considering.
Went to the Essence restaurant at Melbourne Marriott Hotel for high tea. A great selection of sandwiches, pies, sweet treats on a 3 tier stand, and a scone with jam and cream. All this came with a glass of sparkling wine and a choice of tea/coffee. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. 6 of us went, using Living Social vouchers, which offered great value for money.
