    About Eneabba

Book Direct with the Owner at Eneabba with QLD Tourism in Eneabba, for all your Attraction and travel needs.

Eneabba is in the heart of spring wildflower country, surrounded by national heritage reserves and some of Western Australia's prettiest coastal and wildflower landscapes - the perfect base for nature lovers, bird watchers and wildflower enthusiasts. Take the three hour drive north of Perth to Eneabba and you'll find yourself in one of the State's most spectacular wildflower regions. Make the journey part of the adventure by hitting the 415 kilometre Indian Ocean Drive, stopping at breathtaking beaches, bays and the lunar-like landscape of the Pinnacles along the way. Whether you take the Indian Ocean Drive or inland Brand Highway, you'll find an array of natural attractions within easy reach of Eneabba. In addition to the stunning beaches at Coolimba, Illawong and Gum Tree Bay, all within 20 minutes' drive, there are nine national heritage reserves nearby. If you're a bird watching enthusiast, make a beeline for the Beekeeper's Reserve and Lesueur National Park. The area is home to 100 plus bird species, including the rare Carnaby's black cockatoo, so be sure to bring your camera, especially if you time your visit to coincide with spring wildflower season. From July to November, you'll find the countryside and bushland swathed in blooms of wildflowers, such as Grevillea, Leschenaultia, orchids and pearl flowers, some of which occur nowhere else on Earth. Sitting 12 kilometres west of Eneabba is Lake Indoon, a freshwater lake in a beautiful 130 hectare A-class reserve. It's a popular spot for a variety of recreational activities, from water skiing and sailing to swimming, or you can simply relax by the water's edge with a picnic or barbeque and marvel at the abundant birdlife. The lake is also a watering ground for native animals - wait until dusk and you might spot the local kangaroos and emus. You can camp at Lake Indoon, but if you'd prefer to make Eneabba your base for exploring the Indian Ocean coast and sweeping hinterland, you can choose from the town's caravan parks or motel-style accommodation....
