  Lots of period features and style, the Shamrock is located in the middle of town so you can walk any where. Economical, big rooms, clean and tired. Probably a little tired and the reverse cycle air con / heater struggled to warm our room. Still, a reasonable balance of economy and amenities.

  Nice, actually very nice regional hotel. We stayed in a corner room which was huge. We ate in the balcony upstairs, was hot and glary but food was fine.

  Renovated in 1981. This grand old building is in desperate need of a comprehensive and sensitive revamp. Having said that, the rooms and beds are comfortable. Whilst the main bar looks attractive for a drink, don't bother at eating hours. Barflies are ignored for table customers . One extra staff member would fix this. Centrally located.Position position position.

  A beautiful, historic hotel. The building is amazing. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. I will definitely return on ny next visit to Bendigo.
