Lovely heritage restaurant with great views. Prices are good for this fine dining experience with a lovely ambience. Fillet steak was served a bit cold but the scalloped potatoes with it were excellent and piping hot so overall good. My partner had the smoked salmon which was nice. I had a glass of red wine which was undrinkable (they took off the bill). The Chardonnay on the other hand was lovely. Overall a good experience. Would recommend.
The building has a wonderful atmosphere and the views of the Jamison Valley from our room (room 10) were outstanding. The weather is getting colder, and it was raining the second day during my stay. After dinner, I saw an older couple reading books by the fireplace in the hotel's public area, it looked warm and cosy.
