Book Direct with the Owner at Elderton Wines Cellar Door with QLD Tourism in Nuriootpa, for all your Attraction and travel needs.
The Elderton Wines Cellar Door is located in Nuriootpa, Barossa Valley, and is a must-see on a visit to Barossa. Elderton Wines Cellar Door guests enter a 100 year old homestead, in which the Ashmead family lived for over 35 years. This was the home of the family who still own the business today. This is where the family entertained guests, and visitors can enjoy a hosted wine tasting in that same space. This is where the family sat and enjoyed the warmth of the majestic fireplace, and visitors can now sit and enjoy a local produce plate and glass of wine in that same spot. The gardens, designed by Kate Whitelock of Garden Art Design, showcase a formal garden along with a grass tennis court and pool. Cellar Door also has a direct view of the 1894 Command Vineyard, which offers photo opportunities for visitors. While there are a number of vineyards planted in the 1800s still used in the production of wine in the Barossa, we are the only Cellar Door to have such a vineyard on our doorstep. Look over the vines that are nearly 125 years old, while tasting the wine that is produced from them. ...QLD Tourism welcomes Elderton Wines Cellar Door in Nuriootpa SA, we offer an experience that takes you on a journey of a life time in Nuriootpa.
